- Many describe me as a relatively secure(mentally) and all around good guy. All true except for the mentally secure part. Well sort of... in a way.. I guess.. what did you say?? What was the question??? Oh yeah .. about me. As much as I love a good joke, I appreciate a bad one told enthusiastically better. I tend to root for the underdog and will give extra credit to someone that continues to try hard with good intentions. I love to cook.. love to go out and shake my tail feather. Put me at the beach and a happy Darrin I will be. Used to play a lot of beach volleyball until I realized watching it on the sidelines with a cold one is much more fun!!! Work hard and play hard!!!! I'm very close with my family. Some people say that's uncool... screw 'em. They are all up in Jersey, but we find time to get together. They'll always be there for me and that is cool. That's what I love about my friends, as well. I've successfully been able to surround myself with the same kind of friends. I been known to be a bit cheesey and emotional at times, but hey nothing wrong with and relatively emotionally stable, heterosexual man getting a bit choked up. I heard the ladies dig that sort of thing(sniff, sniff). SO..... I heard I'm pretty fun and amuzing to be around. My verbal(and sometimes physical) filter can sometimes be on the fritz. I'm ok with that, especially when I'm on a roll. The friends I have won't judge me and those that do aren't my friends.
